A wireline core rod is a key parts of diamond core drilling process. It used to retrieve core samples quickly and efficiently while minimizing the need to pull the entire drill string out of the hole.

Advanced Full-Length Heat Treatment
To maximize the mechanical properties of the steel, G-Drills utilizes a state-of-the-art multi-stage heat treatment process:
Full-Length Q&T (Quenched & Tempered): The entire tube body undergoes a fully controlled quenching and tempering process. This refines the steel's grain structure, providing the perfect balance of high tensile strength (for deep-hole pulling) and high fatigue limit (to survive bending stresses in deviated holes).

Anti-Galling Thread Treatment: Precision Phosphating
Thread damage (galling or thread-locking) is the leading cause of premature drill rod retirement. G-Drills prevents this through premium machining and chemical surface engineering:
CNC Thread Cutting: All threads (such as NRQ, HRQ, PRQ, and Q-series) are machined on high-precision CNC lathes and checked with standard DCDMA master gauges.
Premium Phosphating Treatment: After machining, the male (pin) and female (box) thread connections undergo a specialized chemical zinc/manganese phosphating process.
The Phosphating Advantage: This process creates a porous, oil-absorbent crystalline layer on the thread surface. It acts as a dry lubricant carrier, retaining thread grease and dramatically reducing direct metal-to-metal friction. This completely eliminates thread galling during initial make-up cycles and extends thread service life by over 150%.
