DHD bit DTH, referred as Down the hole drill bit with “DHD” bit shank design, is used for drilling in various hard rock formations
General Introduction
DHD referred to a special bit shank design, and it is one of the down the hole drill bits which is used for drilling hard rock formations.
It must be equipped with DHD series hammers in drilling process. The DHD hammer delivery high impact to the bit, and the bit break the rock while it rotates.

For drilling very hard rock formations at high air pressures. When the bits is drilling, the faster the drilling speed, the less wear of the drill body. |

For low - medium pressure drilling of soft-medium hard rock formations,and the drill block is not easy to corrode. The characteristic of this design are the low load if the side button, the wear is not badly and the drilling speed is fast. |

For all rock formations, especially in medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations, the effect is good. The blast hole deviation is small, and the slag discharge effect is good. |

For soft-medium hard and fractured rock formations with low-medium pressure, in order to obtain fast rock drilling speed and less blast. |

Double-sided button face |
|
For drilling very hard rock formations at high air pressures. When the bits is drilling, drilling speed is fast, the bit body wear will also be less. |

Application Scenario
DHD series down hole bit is a widely used drilling tool. Below is the detailed application scenarios:
Produce construction aggregates and dimension stones. In the application, it usually used to drill holes for blasting in stone quarries to extract building materials such as granite, limestone, and marble.
Provide water supply in rural and urban areas. DHD series bits are commonly used to drilling deep boreholes to access groundwater for domestic, agricultural, or industrial use. They are able to drill through hard rock layers, ensuring clean and stable boreholes.
Environmental assessment and remediation projects. It can be used in Drilling boreholes for environmental monitoring, soil sampling, and groundwater testing.
