Superior Thread Wear Resistance Through Advanced Heat Treatment To solve the common B-end frustration of premature thread wear and galling, our tool joints undergo a multi-stage heat treatment process:

Quenching & Tempering: Increases core toughness to handle sudden torque spikes without fracturing.

Surface Induction Hardening / Nitriding: Boosts thread surface hardness to HRC 55-60, allowing the pipe to be coupled and uncoupled thousands of times without losing thread profile accuracy.

Precision Thread Machining: All API threads are CNC-machined and checked with standard gauges to ensure airtight sealing and smooth make-and-break operations.

Note: Heavy-wall thicknesses and custom lengths are fully customizable for high-torque or deep-hole exploration applications.

API 5DP Standard Alignment: Manufactured fully compliant with API 5DP specifications, utilizing premium seamless alloy steel tubing (R780/ZG45) for maximum torsional resistance.

Advanced Friction Welding Technology: The tube body and tool joints are bonded using state-of-the-art friction welding, ensuring a 100% homogenous, high-strength weld zone that eliminates operational snapping risks.

Precision Heat-Treated Joints: Thread joints are crafted from premium 42CrMo alloy steel, undergoing rigorous quenching, tempering, and nitriding processes to achieve optimal hardness and anti-galling (anti-wear) thread performance.

Exceptional Straightness Control: Every drill rod is cold-straightened under strict tolerances to prevent vibration, minimize rig wear, and ensure perfectly straight holes.

1. If DTH drill rod thread is not standard, Gdrills is responsible for replacement.

2. If DTH drill rod break before its 2/3 life time, Gdrills is responsible for replacement, but Gdrills does not take its joint responsibilities due to rods breakages.

3. Under proper and correct operation, if DTH drill rod bends seriously, Gdrills is responsible for replacement.

Notice:

Gdrills guarantees that each new product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 280 days from the shipping date. In the event of a defect, Gdrills agrees to repair, replace, or provide credit for the affected product. Please note that cash refunds will not be issued under any circumstances to resolve warranty claims.

This warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper use, application, or handling. Additionally, if the product is repaired, modified, or altered by anyone other than Gdrills, the warranty will no longer apply. Similarly, Gdrills will not be responsible for fulfilling the warranty if the product is subjected to improper use, inadequate lubrication, or incorrect maintenance.

For warranty claims, Gdrills' liability is limited to the remedies outlined above.
