Wireline Drill Rods.
- Length. Wireline drill rods typically come in lengths ranging from 1 meter to 6 meters.
- Diameter. Diameters can vary from 42 mm to 89 mm, depending on the manufacturer and application.
- Rod size. Customized outer/inner diameters for special drilling equipment or hole requirements
- Thread Surface Coating. Customers can choose different coating between carbon nitriding, anti-rust and black oxide.
- OEM / ODM production. We accept custom drawings, private branding or lable options, and specification manufacturering requirements.
Wireline Drill Rods Process
Drilling
The wireline drill rod, equipped with a core bit, is lowered into the borehole. The core bit cuts through the subsurface, and the core sample enters the inner tube.
Retrieval
Once drilling is complete at a specific depth, the inner tube, containing the core sample, is lifted to the surface using a wireline winch system. The outer tube remains in the borehole, allowing for rapid and continuous drilling.
Core handling
At the surface, the core sample is extracted from the inner tube for examination, analysis, and logging.

A: Yes, Gdrills wireline rods are 100% compatible with standard B, N, H, and P wireline systems used globally. You can seamlessly integrate them into your existing rod string.
Q: How do you prevent thread "Galling" (seizing)?
A: Our threads are nitrogen-treated and coated with specialized thread oil before shipping. Additionally, we advise using premium thread oil and verifying alignment before applying makeup.
Q: What lengths are available?
A: Standard lengths are 1.5m and 3.0m, but we can manufacture custom lengths (e.g., 0.75m or 1.0m) to fit your specific rig configuration.
