Why Choose Us
Superior Material for Maximum Durability
Made from premium alloy structural steel, it provides outstanding wear resistance and a longer service life even under the most challenging rock drilling circumstances.
Advanced Heat Treatment
The threads are guaranteed to endure high-frequency impact and avoid stripping or deformation thanks to cutting-edge carburizing and surface hardening processes.Precision CNC machining reduces energy loss and drilling variations by ensuring flawless alignment with extension rods and shank adapters thanks to strict tolerance control.
Complete Selection of Thread Types
To satisfy all of your top hammer drilling needs, we provide adapter, full-bridge, and semi-bridge couplings.
Premium Coupling Sleeves for Top Hammer Drilling Tools
The high-performance coupling sleeves from Gdrills will increase your drilling efficiency and minimize energy loss. Our threaded couplings, which are made of high-quality alloy steel and precisely manufactured, guarantee smooth energy transfer from the rock drill to the bit. Fully compatible with global standard top hammer tools

Extending drill rods: It used to connecting two drill rods to extend the drill string length ad drilling goes deeper.
Connecting different drill rods: The coupling sleeve can connect two diiferent thread drill rods, which allows to reuse existing rods and tools.
Increase flesibility and cost efficiency: By using cross-over couplings, drillers can reuse existing equipment instead of purchasing a new set of rods or hammers.

Types of Coupling Sleeves
Full-bridge coupling sleeve
The full-bridge coupling sleeve has a complete internal bridge (stop) in the middle, oreventing the threaded ends of two rods from touching.
Semi-bridge coupling sleeve
The semi-bridge (half-bridge) coupling sleeve has a partial internal bridge, allowing some contact between the rod ends whil still offering alignment supports.
Cross-over coupling sleeve
Cross-over coupling sleeve is to join drill rods with different thread size, for example, connecting a T38 rod to T45 rod.

Application of Coupling Sleeves
Mining and Quarring
Coupling sleeves are used in underground and surface mining and stone quarry operations to connect drill rods for rock blasting, development drilling, benching drilling, and block cutting.
Tunneling and Construction
Coupling sleeves in tunneling and construction area are applied in tunnel excavation, foundation, and road construction.
Water Well and Borehole Drilling
Coupling sleeves are used to extend the drilling depth by connecting rods as the borehole deepens.

Q: What materials are typically used in a sleeve coupling?
A: 23CrNi3MoVA alloy steel.
Q: Do sleeve couplings fail, and if so, what are the most probable causes?
A: Yes, sleeve coupling is susceptible to failure like any equipment. However, the causes can almost always be attributed to improper selection.
Q: What are sleeve couplings designed for?
A: A sleeve coupling's primary purpose is to connect two drill rods to extend the drill rods as it goes deeper.
Q: Do you accept OEM?
A: Yes
Q: What is the difference between a semi-bridge and a full-bridge coupling sleeve?
A: Semi-bridge couplings have a small non-threaded bridge in the center, allowing the rods to meet in the middle for better energy transmission. Full-bridge couplings have no bridge, making them ideal for situations where rod jamming is a concern or when maximum thread engagement is needed.
Q: Are your coupling sleeves compatible with Atlas Copco or Sandvik drilling tools?
A: Yes, our threaded couplings are manufactured to standard international specifications and are highly cross-compatible with major brands like Sandvik, Epiroc (Atlas Copco), Boart Longyear, and etc.
Q: What is the lead time for bulk orders?
A: As a direct manufacturer, we maintain a robust inventory of standard R32, T38, T45, and T51 sleeves. Standard orders are dispatched within 7-15 days. Custom orders depend on the specifications.
