Every bit in our Mission catalog is forged from 20CrNi2Mo alloy steel, a material selected for its superior toughness-to-hardness ratio. Combined with our proprietary Vacuum Heat Treatment, the steel body gains a deep hardened layer that resists "body wash" while the core remains ductile enough to absorb millions of high-G impacts without failure.

Don't just pick a size; pick a pressure profile. The Mission Series is engineered to perform within specific air-volume windows:
Low Pressure (<150 PSI): Focus on bit face designs with fewer, larger buttons to maintain high point-load pressure in softer formations.
High Pressure (>250 PSI): Our Mission 50 and 60 bits utilize reinforced flushing holes to prevent air-backpressure. This ensures that the hammer's piston strikes the bit with 100% force, rather than being cushioned by a "rock-dust cloud."
Abrasive Formations: In high-friction environments, we recommend our bits with increased gauge protection (more side buttons) to prevent the bit from tapering, which is the #1 cause of stuck drill strings.
