High-Performance WT Tapered Thread & Heat Treatment

The threaded joint is the most critical load-bearing point. We optimize the thread life and joint strength through state-of-the-art manufacturing:

WT Tapered Joint Design: Featuring a coarse 2.5 threads per inch (TPI) tapered thread. This allows for extremely fast make-up and easy break-out, cutting rod-handling time in half compared to parallel threads.

High-Frequency Induction Hardening: The pin and box joint ends undergo targeted induction heat treatment, achieving a surface hardness of HRC 55–60.

Anti-Galling Protection: While keeping the tube body highly ductile, the hardened thread surface drastically reduces wear, eliminates thread stripping, and prevents "galling" during high-frequency reuse.

 

Premium Raw Material: 42CrMo Alloy Steel (ASTM 4140)
